The Orchard Homeschool Fellowship The Orchard Homeschool Fellowship

We are so happy you are interested in learning more about The Orchard Homeschool Fellowship!

We are committed to homeschooling and encourage one another through a cooperative style of education.

At least one parent from each family is expected to take on a teaching/helping responsibility during the year.

We offer classes from nursery age through High school. Nursery is available to families with registered grade-age children.

We meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday from September through April from 10 am until 2:30 pm.

We also love to gather for field trips in between our formal meets. Parents gather about once a month for encouragement, prayer, ideas, and class/group updates.

A little about our coordinator: Erin Gowin

Erin and her husband Matt felt a strong calling to homeschool their children when they brought their oldest home from the hospital in 2011 and have continued to do so. Before having children, she completed her BA in Fine Art and worked with the special education department in the public school system. She has served in several children's ministries with her church family. She was the homeschool group coordinator, Joy of Learning Homeschool Fellowship, in Amelia for about five years. During the summer of 2020, she saw a growing need to serve the homeschooling families in the Moseley area, which The Orchard Homeschool Fellowship started to flourish into a ministry. Recently Joy of Learning merged with The Orchard to be one happy family! Erin is blessed to be a part of the growing homeschooling community and has a strong calling to connect and serve other homeschooling families and their four children, Isaiah, Abigail, Katharina, and Jacob.
